    ABOUT Rylan Wooster

    Buderim, QLD

Hi, my name is Rebecca Wooster, and I’m the proud mum of Rylan, a 10-year-old student from Buderim Mountain State School with an incredible passion and talent for athletics.

Rylan has had an exceptional 2025 season — he’s a four-time national champion, winning gold at both the School Sport Australia National Cross Country Championships and the Athletics Australia National Cross Country Championships, as well as gold in the 800m and 1500m track events at the School Sport Australia National Track and Field Championships. Most recently, he won the 400m, 800m and 1500m at the Queensland State Little Athletics Championships, breaking the Queensland record for the 400m and the Australian record in the 800m and 1500m.

His hard work and determination have also earned him recognition as a finalist in the Sunshine Coast Sports Awards – Athlete of the Year (Next Gen), celebrating the region’s most outstanding young athletes.

Across 2025, our family have spent over $9000 supporting Rylan’s school and representative sport participation, including training, competitions, travel, and uniforms.

So far, we’ve only received a small amount of local support, and the financial burden of representing Queensland at this level is substantial. Every donation will go directly toward helping Rylan represent Queensland with pride and continue chasing his dream of becoming an elite athlete.

Thank you so much for supporting Rylan on his journey, every contribution, big or small, helps him take one step closer to achieving his dreams.
