I'm Ryley Jackson, a 12-year-old basketball player from Coomera on the Gold Coast, and I need your help to achieve something I've been dreaming about for years.

This year, I was selected for the North Gold Coast Seahawks U14 Boys Division 1 team - the top team in my age group! I've been representing the Seahawks at both 12U and 14U levels throughout 2024 and 2025, and making the 14.1 team for the 2026 season is a massive step forward in my basketball ambitions and offers a great opportunity to progress and achieve at a whole new level.

Making Division 1 means I get to compete at the 2026 Basketball Queensland State Championships in Cairns, where I'll take on the best young players from across the entire state. This is where serious basketball talent is spotted and developed, and it's my chance to test myself against Queensland's elite.

But getting to Cairns comes with significant costs. Between flights, accommodation, food, transport, and registration fees, I need to raise $2,500 to make this dream a reality.

Basketball has taught me so much about dedication, teamwork, and pushing through challenges. This opportunity to compete at State level is something I've worked incredibly hard for, and I'm determined not to let it slip away.
