Ryutaro is a hardworking, and highly dedicated young karate-ka. At just 14 years of age, he has already achieved remarkable success in the sport. He holds a prestigious Junior Second Dan through Kimekai Martial Arts under Sensei Marco Mazzanti - Chair of National Coaching Commission, and regularly trains under the guidance of Sensei Noriko Miki, Australia's National Kata Head Coach.

This July in Hobart, Ryutaro won the 2026 National Champion title in the Male Cadet Kata division. This was his fourth National Championship title in kata division. As a result of this performance and the one at the Australian Open Karate Championships in Liverpool, Sydney in April this year, he has been selected to represent Australia at the 14th World Cadet, Junior and U21 Karate Championships in Poland this October.

Ryutaro's dream is one day to become a World Champion. He is determined to win at the biggest stage in the world in Poland.
