My name is Sacha, and I’m incredibly proud to have the opportunity to represent Australia with the Australian Men’s National Ice Hockey Team — the Mighty Roos.

Playing in the green and gold has been a dream of mine since I was young. Ice hockey has always been a huge part of my life, and being given the chance to compete internationally for Australia is something I’m extremely grateful for. I now have the opportunity to represent my country at the 2026 UAE International Tournament and the Trans-Tasman Tournament in Melbourne against New Zealand.

For many Australian ice hockey players, representing our country comes with significant personal costs. Unlike many other sports, athletes often have to cover a large portion of the expenses themselves. These costs include travel, accommodation, tournament fees, training camps, uniforms, recovery support, and equipment.

As a university student, balancing these expenses alongside study, training, and competition can be challenging. That’s why I’m raising funds to help support my journey and reduce the financial pressure that comes with competing internationally.

Every donation — no matter how big or small — helps me focus on preparing and performing at my best while proudly representing Australia.
