My name is Samantha Dixon, and I have recently been selected in the Australian Women’s Indoor Cricket Team for the upcoming 2025 Indoor Cricket World Cup in Sri Lanka this September.

Indoor cricket is a self-funded sport, and while representing Australia is an incredible honour, it comes with significant personal costs of over $5,000 to participate. I am reaching out to seek your support through individual player sponsorship, which would help me proudly represent our country on the world stage.

Over the past ten years, I’ve been a committed member of National and Queensland Teams. I was honoured to be named the Monika Brogan Medal winner for Best Player in Australia (2024) and Runner-Up (2025) following the respective National Championships. At the 2022 Indoor Cricket World Cup in Melbourne, I was awarded Best Player of the World, an achievement that reflects my dedication to the sport and to my team.

This opportunity to represent Australia again on the world stage means so much to me. I’ve proudly represented Australia in indoor cricket since 2014, and it’s been a defining part of my life ever since - more than a sport, it’s my passion. Every time I wear the green and gold, I do so with pride, knowing I’m also helping pave the way for the next generation of female athletes.
