My name is Samirah, I am a Darwin girl attending Scotch College in Adelaide as a boarding student. I love all things sports, especially Basketball and AFL.

After participating in a 6 week development training and attending 3 try out, I have just been selected to represent the SA Metro u13 girls basketball team. This is an amazing opportunity where we will travel to Melbourne for the Southern Cross Challenge from the 16th Jan - 19th Jan 2026 and compete against other state teams. I have worked incredibly hard and this opportunity means the world to me — it’s not only a chance to grow as an athlete, but also to represent SA state with pride and determination.

We’re raising funds to help cover travel, equipment, and training expenses so I can fully participate in this amazing experience.
