Samuel (Sam) has been selected to represent Australia Under 18s for Bocce in Monaco in October. He began playing Bocce at 13 years old, representing Qld in 3 Junior National Competitions and this year making his debut at the Senior National Bocce Competition. In his first year Sam won a silver medal in Singles and the Inaugural award for Sportsmanship during the tournament. He then went on to win Silver in the Precision discipline and Gold in the Double Rapid relay the following year. Sam is very dedicated to training and learning new techniques to improve his skills and performance. This will be Sam's first year representing his country and he is very excited at the opportunity.

Bocce is currently a self funded sport.
