This year I’ve been incredibly honoured to be selected to represent Australia at the International Cup in Oklahoma. Wearing the green and gold has always been one of my biggest dreams, and to now have the opportunity to compete on an international stage against some of the best athletes in the world is something I’m extremely proud of. Being able to represent my country is not something I take lightly, and it’s a moment I’ve worked towards for many years through dedication, training, and countless sacrifices along the way.

Competing in Oklahoma will not only be an amazing personal achievement, but also an opportunity to grow as an athlete, gain valuable international experience, and proudly showcase Australia on the world stage. I’m beyond excited to be part of this journey and to compete alongside such talented teammates.

As exciting as this opportunity is, international competition unfortunately comes with a large financial commitment. While we are fortunate enough to receive some support through funding and sponsorship within our sport, it only covers a portion of the overall expenses. The remaining costs — including flights, accommodation, uniforms, tournament fees, meals, and other travel expenses — are the responsibility of each athlete.

To be able to compete at the highest level and fully embrace this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, I’m reaching out for support from friends, family, and the wider community. Any contribution, no matter how big or small, would be genuinely appreciated and would go directly towards helping me get to Oklahoma and represent Australia with pride. Even simply sharing this post and helping spread the word means so much to me.
