ABOUT Sarah Bourke
Hi, my name is Sarah Bourke.
I grew up rowing at St Patrick’s college in Townsville, and once graduating, I moved to Brisbane to row at the University of Queensland and complete a dual degree within the university.
This year, I have been fortunate enough to be selected as the single sculler for the U23 Australian Team and will compete at the 2026 World Rowing Under 23 Championships in Duisburg Germany in July. Before this, I will also travel to Italy for a pre-championships camp.
Representing Australia has been a dream of mine since I first started rowing in 2019 and I am incredibly honoured to have been given this opportunity and it is something that I will not take for granted.
Committing fully to this campaign means carrying a full training load alongside full-time study. The financial reality of competing internationally is significant with the seat fee alone being approximately $8,000, along with travel and other costs on top of that. I am aiming to raise $8,000 to make this possible.
Any contribution, big or small, means the world to me. Your support will directly help me represent Australia on the world stage in my debut of the green and gold. Thank you so much.
