ABOUT Sarah Mack
Hi everyone,
My name is Sarah Mack, I’m 18 years old, a 2nd Dan Black Belt in Taekwondo, and I’m incredibly proud to share that I have been selected to represent Australia at not one, but Two Major International Competitions this year — the Senior World Championships in Wuxi, China this October, and the World University Games in Germany in July.
This is my first time representing Australia at an international level, and it truly feels like a dream come true.
I started Taekwondo at just 4 years old, side by side with my older brother, who inspired me every step of the way. Growing up watching him work hard and chase his own dreams made me fall in love with the sport. I never imagined that one day, I would be following in his footsteps, representing not just myself or my family, but my entire country on the world stage.
Taekwondo has taught me more than just martial arts — it’s taught me discipline, resilience, and how to keep going even when the path gets hard. Every early morning training session, every late night, every bruise, every doubt, every win and every loss has led to this moment. And now, at 18 years old, I’ve been given the opportunity to test myself against the best in the world,
As exciting as this opportunity is, the reality is that representing your country in sport often comes with heavy financial costs. Travel, accommodation, uniforms, competition fees — these all add up very quickly. As these events are self-funded, I’m reaching out to my community to help support me on this journey.
All donations are tax deductible, meaning not only will you be helping me live my dream, but you’ll also be able to claim your support back at tax time.
No donation is too small — whether it’s $5 or $500, every bit helps me get one step closer to standing proudly on that competition mat, representing Australia with everything I’ve got.
How You Can Help
- Donate — any amount you can give makes a difference.
- Share — even if you can’t donate, sharing my story with your family, friends, or on social media will go a long way in helping me reach my goal.
- Support — send me a message of encouragement or follow my journey. Your words mean the world to me.
This is just the beginning of my journey, and with your help, I’ll be able to take this next big step forward.
Thank you so much for believing in me and being part of this adventure.
