    ABOUT Sarah Hoffman

    Belmont, NSW

Sarah Hoffman is campaigning towards bringing home Gold at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games in the Nacra 17. Crewing aboard AUS77 and representing the Australian Sailing Pathway Team, she brings strength, focus and discipline to her role. She thrives on the physical challenge of the Nacra 17 and takes pride in representing the values of dedication, teamwork, and growth for the next generation of sailors.

Starting out at 7 years old at her local sailing club, Belmont 16ft Sailing Club, Sarah's passion and love for sailing and being on the water began at an early age. Whilst her sailing journey began with sailing a Pelican named 'Aussie Power' on Belmont Bay, she's moved to the International stage, representing Australia at multiple World Championships and being part of Australia's challenge in the first-ever Women's America's Cup.

In her final year of a Bachelor of Law at the University of Newcastle, she brings a critical thinking and growth mindset to her Olympic campaign.

In 2025, she focused on gaining international racing experience and executing performance under pressure. Along with her helm, Archie Gargett they finished 11th at the 2025 World Championships, and 2nd in the Under 24 Division.

As the path to 2028 Olympic qualification is now underway and in 2026, she looks toward refining their performance and closing the gap to an Olympic Gold Medal.

This campaign is made possible by a community support behind a story of ambition, resilience and the next generation of Australian sport.
