My name is Scott and I am a Year 12 student at Brisbane State High School.

Recently, I was fortunate to be selected to represent the U19 B Australian team at the International Rowing Challenge at Ford Lake, Michigan in the USA. The Regatta is held between July 1st and July 12th. I am looking to raise money to cover the costs of the trip as unfortunately there is no subsidy or financial support. Total costs will be between $8,500-$10,000 and this will include travel, uniforms, accommodation, racing fees and team expenses.

This opportunity has come after a successful campaign at the Australian Rowing Championships in March, where I got bronze in the Schoolboy Single and Silver in the U19 Men's pair alongside Flynn O'Loughlin - who I will also be travelling and racing with.

This is a great opportunity as it would give me a chance to race at an international standard and to represent Australia. Although I am contributing to the costs of this trip, I am also asking for support to help me fund my journey.
