15-year-old Sejal has always seen the world through the lens of cricket. From quiet corners of her school ground to community cricket clubs, every moment of her life has revolved around a bat, wicket keeping gloves and an unwavering dream — to wear her state jersey and make her country proud eventually.

Today, that dream is taking a step in the right direction.

After years of hard work, countless practice sessions, and matches, Sejal has been selected to represent State School Victoria U15 girls in the prestigious Under-15 State Sports Coutnry Championship to be held in Tuggerah, NSW in September 2025. It’s an opportunity that only a few get — and she’s earned it with skill and discipline.

But there’s a challenge.

The costs of tournament participation fees, uniform, traveling and stay are more than what family can afford at this stage. Though her parents are proud beyond words, Sejal wants to support herself with some help from the community.
