Hi! My name is Seth and I have been selected to represent Australia at the 17th World Dragon Boat Championships in Germany in July this year.

    ABOUT Seth Leggatt

    I am a blind athlete and I am going to Germany represent Australia as part of the ParaDragons Division as part of the larger 310 strong Australian Dragon Boating team. We are competing against other countries at the 17th World Championships in Brandenburg an der Havel in Germany in July 2025. This is the first time that Australia has sent a team to compete in the para category at World Champs which is extremely exciting and I am so happy to be a part of this team. I have been competing in dragon Boating for 6 years for my club and for three years on the NSW team. All of this has been on able bodied teams so I am excited to be part of a Para team for the first time.


    Competing for Australia at the World Champs in Germany is entirely self-funded and is very expensive with flights. accommodation, uniforms and training camps (one of which is interstate) etc.
