ABOUT Seth Pangas
Seth is an aspiring young indigenous Rugby Union Player from Newcastle NSW. Since coming on to the junior rugby union scene in 2023 Seth has been identified as a future star. Described by his coaches as a naturally talented, dedicated, disciplined and reliable player Seth has also earned the respect of his peers and often takes a leadership role in the teams he plays with and has become a regular inclusion in cultural teams.
Seth's determination to be his best, his coachability and his potential have led to him being offered two exciting development opportunities in 2026.
- Compete in the Hawaii International Youth rugby 10s with the Pacific Nomads U16 in March/April 2026
- Fiji Tour with Rugby Pathways Wolves U17 September 2026
Seth hopes to not only use these opportunities to develop as a Rugby Player and young man but to be able to use these experiences to inspire other young regional and indigenous athletes.
Throughout the 2025 season Seth has achieved;
- Ella7s U15s Champions, Koori Rugby - Fullback, Co-Captain
- HJRU Spring7s U15s Premiers, Newcastle All Black/Wanderers– Fullback, Captain
- 7s State Championship U15s, Hunter Wildfires – Fullback, Captain
- HJRU Grand Finalist U16s, Wanderers – Wing/Fullback
- XV State Championship U15s, Parramatta Two Blues – Wing/Fullback
Each opportunity has considerable out of pocket expenses for Seth's parents and any support will go towards securing his place on these tours and the associated cost for each tour, approximately $5000 per tour. This covers flights, accommodation, playing kit, meals etc.
Seth's goal is to raise $10 000 through fundraising.
