Hi I'm Sienna Brown and I am currently campaigning towards the LA2028 Olympics and would love for you to join me on my journey! I sail a double handed 470 Mixed Olympic dingy. I enjoy the challenge of skippering the boat responsible for steering us to victory. There is nothing more that I love than being out on the water competitively racing with the best of the best.

My passion to become a highly skilled sailor started in the 29er Skiff, an incredibly fun journey learning what it takes to win and my partner and I reached our goal of becoming the Australian female champions. We were selected to represent Australia in the 2022 Youth Worlds, The Hague. I started sailing 11 years ago and have been totally obsessed ever since and I have been involved in many different sailing classes. Over the past 2 years I have progressed into high performance sailing with my goal to represent Australia in World Championships and future Olympic Games. I have been training with my partner to fine tune our skills under the guidance of legendary coaches, with the support of technical equipment and access to specialised sports professionals thanks to the Australian Sailing Pathways program and the New South Wales Institute of Sport (NSWIS).

In just my first two years competing in the Olympic 470 class, I’ve become the top-ranked boat in New South Wales, the 3rd highest-ranked female skipper, and the 4th overall team in Australia at the 2025 Nationals. It’s an achievement I’m incredibly proud of, not only as a personal milestone but also as a chance to represent and inspire more women in sailing.

This year in July, I’m preparing for an exciting trip to Europe, where I’ll be competing in both the Junior World Championships Spain and Junior European Championships Portugal. Similar to any other high performance sports the financial component becomes vital to competing at this elite level. As a young athlete your donation will help me pay for boat charters, entry fees, training blocks and equipment maintenance for the Jr Worlds and Jr European competitions.
