ABOUT Simona Falzone
About me
I fell in love with gymnastics before I even started training.
when I was 5 years old, I used to spend hours at home watching gymnastics tutorials on YouTube and trying skills by myself. I taught myself handstands and cartwheels and was basically always upside down doing little acrobatics around the house!
At seven years old, I officially started gymnastics in Italy, and from that moment gymnastics became a huge part of my life.
Four years ago, my family and I moved to Australia and I joined Perth Gymnastics Academy. Since then, I have worked really hard, training 22+ hours every week while balancing school, recovery and competitions.
Gymnastics has taught me discipline, resilience and confidence, and I feel very lucky to be able to do the sport I love every day.
I was very proud to represent Western Australia at Border Challenge in 2025, and I ama incredibly excited and grateful to have been selected once again to represent WA in 2026.
My Fundraising
Competing at this level also comes with many expanses, especially for interstate travel from Western Australia. Competition fees, flights, accommodation and compulsory team uniforms all add up very quickly.
I am fundraising to help cover travel, accommodation, competition fees and team uniform costs so I can continue competing and proudly representing Western Australia.
