Skyla competes as an athlete in the Sunshine Coast swim team, and is selected to represent QLD at the National championships in Melbourne 19-23 October 2026 (*this only occurs every 4 years).

This fund raising is to help cover the costs of attending this prestigious event!

Skyla was recognised as the Sunshine Coast Special Olympics sports woman of the year in 2024 for her performance & contribution to the sport. Her sporting achievements are shared with other students at her school & this provides inspiration to those in the community (& her peers) who may not actively follow 'non-mainstream' activities...showing that everyone has a place in the community and the ability to succeed.
