My name is Sarah, and I’m the proud mum of Sophie, who has recently been selected to represent Western Australia at the 2026 Australian Indoor Netball Championships in Queensland this February.

This is a huge achievement for Sophie. Netball is her passion — she trains hard, shows real dedication, and has dreamed of playing at this level. Being chosen to wear the WA colours is something she has worked incredibly hard for, and I couldn’t be more proud of her.

We are aiming to raise $4,000, which will go directly towards her uniform, travel, accommodation, and participation costs for the championships.

As a family, we’ve had a challenging few years. I’ve been through cancer treatment and ongoing recovery, and although I’m grateful to be moving forward, the after-effects have taken a significant financial toll. Because of this, covering the full cost of this opportunity is difficult on our own, and we’re reaching out for a little help to get Sophie there.

Any contribution — no matter the size — will help Sophie take part in this incredible opportunity and proudly represent Western Australia on the national stage.
