Gymnastics is an incredibly demanding sport, both physically and financially. Annual costs can exceed $20,000, covering essentials such as coaching, equipment, competition fees, training camps, medical support, physiotherapy, remedial massage, and international travel.

Because Sophie’s schedule leaves no time for part-time work, her parents currently fund 100% of her gymnastics journey. Unfortunately, even at the top levels, athletes receive little to no financial support.
