Meet Sophie, a 16 year old cheerleader who is not only passionate about cheerleading & dance but also redefining what’s possible for people with disabilities. Living with Cerebral Palsy, Sophie has overcome many physical and emotional challenges to pursue her dreams in cheerleading. Through dedication, resilience and hard work she has earned the amazing opportunity to represent Australia on the world stage 2 years in a row.

Sophie started cheerleading as a form of therapy at just 5 years old and instantly felt understood and accepted. Cheerleading has taught her strength, discipline, hard work and perseverance. She hopes to continue encouraging inclusion, empowerment and breaking barriers for other young athletes with disabilities.
