South East Reapers Basketball Club is a new volunteer-run, not-for-profit basketball club being established to provide more opportunities for junior and senior players across Melbourne's south-east. Our mission is to create an inclusive, supportive, and affordable club where players of all skill levels can develop their basketball abilities, build confidence, and become part of a positive community.

We are raising funds to help establish the club for our inaugural Summer 2026/27 season. The funding will assist with essential start-up costs including basketball equipment, first aid supplies, training resources, venue hire, player development programs, and support for families experiencing financial hardship. Our goal is to ensure that cost is never a barrier for someone wanting to play the game they love.

Basketball has the power to bring people together, promote healthy lifestyles, and create lifelong friendships. We care deeply about building a club that values respect, teamwork, sportsmanship, and community involvement while giving young people and adults a safe, welcoming environment to participate in sport.

To make this happen, we have assembled a passionate group of volunteers and are working closely with local schools, community organisations, businesses, and sponsors. We are actively recruiting players, coaches, team managers, and volunteers while building partnerships that will help the club grow sustainably for many years to come. Teams will compete in both the Casey Basketball Association and Pakenham District Basketball Association, allowing us to provide opportunities for players across the region.

South East Reapers is more than just a basketball club—we are building a community where everyone has the opportunity to represent, respect, and reap the rewards of teamwork, dedication, and belonging. Every donation will directly support our players and help create a strong foundation for future generations of basketballers.
