Support the Sunshine Coast Riptides: Our First Journey to Nationals!
Who We Are Founded in 2017 at the North Shore Multi Sports complex, the Sunshine Coast Baseball Association (SCBA) has grown from a simple 8-week T-Ball program into a thriving regional hub for baseball. Known as the Riptides, our association is dedicated to making baseball a mainstream sport on the Sunshine Coast by fostering an inclusive community for players of all ages and skill levels.
Our Strategic Vision: "Making Baseball Great" Our current strategic plan is built on four pillars: Grow Our Space, Grow Our People, Grow Our Brand, and Grow Our Business. Central to this is "Growing Our People"—creating clear development pathways that allow our players to advance their skills, take on leadership roles, and compete at the highest levels.
The Campaign: Sending Our Little League Emerging Team to Nationals
For the first time in our history, our Little League emerging team has the opportunity to compete at the National Championships. This milestone directly aligns with our strategic goals to:
- Expand competition offerings and provide elite development opportunities for our junior players.
- Strengthen our brand by showcasing the talent and dedication of Sunshine Coast athletes on a national stage.
- Foster a culture of participation, encouraging our youth to pursue their baseball journey from T-Ball all the way to representative honors.
