Swan River Sailing, a non-profit based in Crawley, WA, is dedicated to promoting sailing and community engagement on the Swan River. We’re raising funds to cover the high costs of maintaining our fleet of eight matched keelboats that deliver corporate sailing activities, community and international regattas, and Learn to Sail programs. These yachts, used by 1,000s of people every year, require regular repairs, servicing, and safety upgrades due to wear and tear from frequent use. Maintaining them is expensive - covering hull repairs, rigging, and equipment - but critical to ensure safety and accessibility for participants, from youth to adults. We care deeply because these yachts enable us to inspire the next generation of sailors and strengthen community bonds. Our plan is to use donations to fund a comprehensive maintenance schedule, supported by our experienced team and volunteers, with funds distributed fortnightly via ASF.
