WHO WE ARE

Sydney Canoe Polo Club (ABN: 79594344970, Incorporated Association No: INC2501016) is the pioneering force behind canoe polo in Sydney. We're passionate paddlers, water safety advocates, and sport developers working with PaddleNSW and Paddle Australia to establish this dynamic sport across our city.

WHAT WE'RE RAISING FUNDS FOR

We need to raise $30,000 to:

• Host the Sydney Summer Series (Oct 11-12, 2025) - Australia's World Championship selection event
• Purchase international-standard equipment (floating goals, competition balls, safety gear)
• Secure venue bookings for Sydney's first regular canoe polo league
• Develop a school's program introducing water safety through sport
• Support athlete travel and training for our national team candidates

WHY WE CARE

Canoe polo transforms lives through water confidence. It's the perfect blend of kayaking skills, team strategy, and water safety - all while having incredible fun. We've seen shy kids become confident leaders, adults conquer their fear of water, and athletes discover pathways to representing Australia. With Sydney's beaches and waterways, our city should be leading this sport, not missing out.

HOW WE'LL MAKE IT HAPPEN

✓ October 11-12: Host national selection at Penrith Whitewater Stadium (confirmed)

✓ November 2025: Launch weekly league competitions at partner venues

✓ 2026: Establish schools program across Sydney

✓ 2026: Support the Australian Men's, Women's, U21 Men's and U21 Women's teams at the World Championships in Germany

• Penrith Whitewater Stadium (October venue secured)
• University of Sydney and UNSW (venue negotiations underway)
• PaddleNSW and Paddle Australia (official support and insurance)
