Since the moment I discovered American football it has been more than just a sport to me, it has been my passion, purpose and dream.

Over the years I have poured countless hours of blood, sweat and tears into chasing one goal, to represent Australia.

At 18 that dream was nearly taken away from me when I tore my ACL. The injury required major knee reconstruction which resulted in losing my scholarship opportunities to play football in the United States and represent Australia.

For a while, everything I had worked towards seemed to disappear.

But despite the setbacks I never lost my love for the game or my belief that it was still possible. I spent that entire year rebuilding myself both physically, mentally and emotionally.

The rehabilitation process was one of the hardest challenges of my life. There were many moments when I didn’t know if I would ever step on the field again but I kept going.

Through perseverance, faith, and an unwavering commitment to my goal, I fought my way back.

Today the hard work has paid off and I am incredibly honoured to have been given another opportunity to represent Australia.
