at just 21 years old, I had the honour of representing Australia at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris in the 110m hurdles. Competing at the Olympics had been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember, and achieving that goal required absolutely everything physically, mentally, and financially.

To get there, I travelled across multiple countries competing and chasing qualification opportunities. Like many athletes in athletics, that journey had to be funded personally. It showed me the reality of elite sport achieving world class results often requires athletes to invest everything they have into their dream.

Following the Olympics, I faced a major setback. In February 2025 I suffered a hamstring injury that required surgery. It was one of the most challenging moments of my career. But I committed myself fully to the rehabilitation process investing everything I had into recovery, treatments, training, and returning stronger than ever.

4.5 months post surgery I ran overseas and ran 0.2 seconds off my personal best. This showed my coach and I what potential we can achieve in the near future!

I am now training and preparing for the next chapter.

My focus now is qualifying for the 2026 Commonwealth games in Glasgow and building towards the 2028 Olympic Games.

I truly believe my best performances are still ahead of me, and I am determined to represent Australia and do us proud on the world stage.
