This is Taylor’s very first year playing Rugby Union, and she has already discovered something pretty special — a love for the game, the challenge, and, most importantly, being part of a team.

Now, that first year of rugby has opened the door to an opportunity we never could have imagined.

Taylor has been selected to travel to Japan in April 2027 with her school, Aranmore Catholic College, to compete in the Ebina Girls Rugby Festival — her first-ever international rugby competition.

What makes this opportunity even more special is that Taylor will be part of the first Aranmore girls Rugby 7s group to make this journey, and they are currently the only Australian team registered to compete at the festival. For Taylor, this is about so much more than playing rugby overseas. It is an opportunity to represent her school and Australian girls’ rugby on an international stage, challenge herself against teams from another country, experience a different culture, build confidence and independence, and create memories and friendships that could last a lifetime.

We are fundraising to help cover the significant travel costs required to get Taylor to Japan and onto that field in April 2027.
