    As most of you know, I’ve been playing hockey for a long time. I’m stoked to say I’ve finally been selected to play for Australia in the Over 35s Indoor World Cup in Nottingham, UK.


    ​To finally wear the green and gold is a dream come true, it really is the opportunity of a lifetime. The only catch is that because it’s indoor hockey, there’s no funding. The whole trip is self-funded.


    ​I’m not asking for anyone to dig deep or put themselves out. But I figured if you were the type to buy me a beer to say "congrats," I’d really appreciate it if you shouted me that drink here instead.


    ​Whether it’s a "virtual beer" or a bit more, it all goes straight towards my travel costs to get me to the UK and expenses for the trip.
