    ABOUT Tehani Badke

    Bucca, NSW

At just 16 years old, Tehani is an exceptional New South Wales equestrian athlete who has earned the incredible honour of representing Australia on the international stage for the second consecutive year. Following her success in Puebla, Mexico in 2025, Tehani has been invited back to compete in two back-to-back FEI global tours in 2026, an achievement that reflects her dedication, resilience, and commitment to her sport.

Showjumping is more than just a passion for Tehani, it is her way of life. Growing up on a rural family farm, she has developed a deep connection with her horses, along with a strong work ethic, discipline, and determination that underpins her success. Every early morning, every training session, and every competition has been part of her journey toward competing at an elite international level.

While representing Australia is an incredible opportunity, it also comes with significant financial responsibility. Unlike many other sports, equestrian athletes largely self-fund their careers. The costs of international travel, accommodation, training, and competition quickly add up, creating a substantial barrier for young athletes and their families.

We are raising funds to support Tehani’s journey to Mexico in 2026, helping cover these essential expenses so she can focus on competing at her best. With the support of our community, local businesses, and sponsors, we are working hard to make this opportunity possible through fundraising, partnerships, and sponsorship initiatives.

Your support, no matter the size will directly contribute to helping Tehani represent Australia proudly in the green and gold. More than that, it is an investment in a young athlete who embodies dedication, humility, and perseverance.

By supporting Tehani, you are backing not only her dream but also the future of Australian equestrian sport. Thank you for being part of her journey.
