ABOUT Tess Kirsopp-Cole
Hi, I’m Tess!
I’m an Aussie middle-distance runner from regional Victoria and a proud Australian representative in the 800m event.
My athletic journey has been anything but linear — shaped by a decade-long battle with endometriosis and a series of serious injuries. It’s been a story of resilience, rediscovery, and falling back in love with running. Despite the setbacks, my dream of wearing the green and gold again — and breaking the 2-minute barrier over 800m — burns stronger than ever.
Highlights of my Australian season include wins at both Zatopek and the Melbourne Track Classic and a bronze medal at the Australian National Championships. Most recently, I competed in Japan, where I won two races and broke two stadium records.
Despite these recent successes, I’m currently without a major sponsor and am self-funding almost every aspect of my athletic journey. As a full-time university student, this represents a huge financial challenge — which is why I’m reaching out for your support.
Every dollar raised goes directly to covering the essential costs of my upcoming European race season. You’re not just supporting travel — you’re backing years of work, sacrifice, and resilience. You’re helping keep a dream alive.
With gratitude,
Tess Kirsopp-Cole
