Our Story – Help Send Local Athletes to the World Stage!

We are the Halls Head Pelicans Basketball Club, a not-for-profit community organisation based in Western Australia. This year, something incredible has happened four of our junior boys’ teams have been selected to represent Australia at the 2025 World Youth Championships in Singapore.

We’re proud to say that we are the only Australian teams invited to compete at this prestigious international event. Our players, aged 13 to 18, will be taking on elite youth teams from across the globe – including the USA, China, Singapore, and Malaysia – in a once-in-a-lifetime experience filled with opportunity, challenge, and growth.

This isn’t just about basketball. It’s about building confidence, resilience, and community pride. These young athletes have trained tirelessly and shown exceptional commitment – now they need your help to get to the world stage.

Funds raised will go directly toward:

• Tournament entry and registration
• Flights and accommodation
• Team uniforms, training gear and equipment
• Travel bags and essentials for each player
