    ABOUT Tiegan Clark

    Capalaba, QLD

    Hi everyone!

My name is Tiegan, and I've been snowboarding recreationally since I was 7, but I only embraced the competitive aspect in the last few years.

I discovered snowboard cross (SBX) in 2023, and I'm proud to call myself an athlete in this amazing high speed sport! When riding a course, I get this rush of energy and adreneline to push myself and focus on each turn, jump and drop until my legs burn!

Over the last two seasons I've been training and racing while studying at Toronto Metropolitan University, and being a student athlete has allowed me to develop crucial skills such as time management and keeping a balanced lifestyle. I've had the chance to participate in training camps across North America, like The Gathering which was held in Sunshine Village, Alberta, and visited Big Snow in New Jersey to get some snow time in the off season. Taking part in these trips has been a huge benefit for me, as I get the opportunity to train at other mountains than my home hill, which broadens my skill range and confidence on snow.

I'm committed to competing at the highest level as a university athlete, but the costs of training, equipment, and travel to competitions are a significant challenge. These are essential for reaching my full potential. With your support, I can make a difference and invest all my efforts into my training and racing. Your donation will directly fund my participation in key events, with a goal of qualifying for the 2027 FISU World University Winter Games and competing on the world stage beyond that.

By contributing, you're not just supporting an Australian athlete; you're investing in a dream and helping to pave the way for a future champion. I am extremely grateful for your generosity and am kindly asking for your financial support. No amount is too small, and every little bit counts!
