ABOUT Tina Ma
Hi, my name is Tina. I started at 5 years old with a small tryout and lesson by lesson, I never expected how much of an impact squash has brought to my life today.
Over the years, squash has become a huge part of my life. Through hard work, dedication, and the support of my family, coaches, and community, I have been fortunate to achieve success at state, national, and international levels.
Some of my proudest achievements include :
Oceania Junior Championships
• Champion x4 (2022, 2023, 2024, 2025)
Australian Junior Open
• Champion x2 (2022, 2024)
• Bronze Medal x2 (2025, 2026)
Australian Junior Championships
• Champion x2 (2022, 2025)
• Runner-Up x2 (2023, 2024)
Scottish Junior Open : Bronze
And : 19 Junior State Championship Titles across Australia.
Victoria x 7 (2020-2026 ) and Youth U23 champion
South Australia x 5 (2022-2026)
ACT x 3 (2021, 2025,2026)
Queensland x 1 (2022)
NSW x 1 (2023)
Tasmania x 1 (2025)
Sarah Fitz-Gerald Award (Victorian best junior player of the year) x2 (2022, 2025)
I have also represented Victoria for four consecutive years (2022-2025) in AJC team events and been selected for the Australian Junior Team in the Trans Tasman Test Series five times.(2022-2026)
Last year, at the age of 15, I was selected to represent Australia at the World Junior Championships in the individual event in Egypt. This year, I am incredibly honoured to have been selected again, and I will be representing Australia in both the individual and team events at the World Junior Championships in Canada in July.
Representing Australia on the world stage is a dream come true, but competing internationally comes with significant costs. Travel, accommodation, tournament participation, training, and preparation expenses all add up quickly.
The funds raised will go directly towards supporting my participation at the World Junior Championships,Scottish Junior Open and British Junior Open this year helping me continue my development as an elite junior athlete.
I am committed to working hard, continuing to improve, and representing Australia to the best of my ability. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference and help me take another step forward in my squash journey.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for considering supporting me. I am incredibly grateful for any contribution and encouragement along the way.
All donations made through the Australian Sports Foundation are tax-deductible.
