    Supporting My Participation in the Transplant Games

    Sport plays a vital role in my ongoing health, rehabilitation, and wellbeing following transplantation. Through participation in the Transplant Games, I am able to remain physically active, continue developing as an athlete, and promote inclusive sporting opportunities for people living with chronic illness or who have received a transplant.


    Sporting Background and Participation

    • Australian Transplant Games – Canberra, October 2024
    • Participated in national-level competition as part of the Australian transplant sporting community.
    • World Transplant Games – Germany, August 2025
    • Represented Australia in international competition, travelling from Australia to Germany to compete against transplant athletes from around the world.

    Future Sporting Opportunities

    I am seeking support to continue my participation and development through upcoming sanctioned sporting events:

    • Australian Transplant Games – Launceston, September–October 2026
    • World Transplant Games – Belgium, August 2027

    These events provide structured competitive opportunities that support athlete development, encourage ongoing participation in sport, and promote physical activity among transplant recipients.


    Use of Funds

    Funds raised through the Australian Sports Foundation will be used solely for sport-related purposes, including:

    • Travel and accommodation required to attend competitions
    • Event registration and participation fees
    • Sporting uniforms and equipment
    • Training and preparation costs directly related to competition

    All funds will be applied in accordance with ASF guidelines to support my participation, preparation, and development as an athlete.


    Contribution to Sport and Community

    My involvement in the Transplant Games supports the development of inclusive sport by demonstrating the benefits of participation for individuals who have undergone major medical procedures. It also contributes to increased visibility of transplant sport and encourages physical activity, resilience, and community engagement.

    This fundraising campaign is administered through the Australian Sports Foundation.

    Donations of $2 or more are tax deductible in Australia.
