Toowoomba Hockey holds a special place in our local community. Home to 1,400 hockey members across five clubs, and more than 11,000 social members through Club Glenvale, our Association is one of the strongest hockey regions in Australia — built on passionate volunteers, strong community spirit, and a love of the game.

While we are proud of our rich history, we have aspirations for an impactful future!

Launched in 2023 to engage the local Yezidi community, Belong in Hockey has grown into an award-winning, widely recognised sport-for-development program that uses hockey to create connection, belonging and opportunity for an increasingly diverse array of people. Today, the program is expanding to include people of all abilities, cultural backgrounds, First Nations participants, veterans, disengaged young people, older adults, and others facing social, financial or trauma-related barriers to participation.

Funds raised through the Australian Sports Foundation will help remove those barriers by covering participation fees, uniforms, equipment, insurance, transport, accreditations, and the staffing needed to grow the program sustainably.

With your support, we can create more laneways into sport, strengthen community wellbeing, and ensure more people find a place to belong through hockey.
