The Townsville Cyclones are more than a football team — we're a community. As Townsville's only gridiron club, we've been bringing the excitement of American football to North Queensland for years, building a family of players, coaches, and supporters who are passionate about growing the game in our region.

Gridiron is a sport that demands heart, discipline, and teamwork — values that run deep in everything we do at the Cyclones. From seasoned veterans to first-time players, our club welcomes everyone who wants to put on a helmet and be part of something bigger than themselves. That inclusive spirit is what has kept us going, and what drives us forward.

With our 2026/27 season pre-season kicking off in July, we are ready to hit the field — but we need your help to get there. Years of wear and tear have taken their toll on our equipment, and right now our players are in desperate need of the basics: helmets, shoulder pads, uniforms, and footballs. Safe, quality equipment isn't a luxury in this sport — it's essential.

Every dollar raised goes directly towards putting our players in safe, proper gear so they can train and compete with confidence. Your support means a Townsville kid gets to experience the thrill of the game. It means a community club that has stood the test of time gets to keep standing.
