I was born with hockey in my blood. I started playing at just 4 years old and haven’t missed a season since.

At 44, after years of “encouragement” (or let’s be honest… borderline bullying 😅), I finally began my Masters hockey journey — a decision I will never regret.

Since then, I’ve had the incredible privilege of representing both my state and my country. Hockey has taken me to amazing cities across Australia and around the world, brought lifelong friendships, unforgettable memories, and medals of every colour along the way. But more than that, hockey has helped me grow, heal, and become the person I am today.

This year, I’m honoured to have been selected for my 3rd World Cup campaign. After a heartbreaking 4th place finish in Spain (which many of us still aren’t over!) and bringing home bronze in Christchurch, we’ll be fighting to go even better this July in Rotterdam as we take on the best Masters teams from around the world.

Representing Australia and wearing the green and gold is something I will never take for granted. Standing arm in arm with my teammates while the national anthem plays before a game still gives me goosebumps — and yes, a few tears — every single time.

As amazing as this opportunity is, Masters hockey is fully self-funded, which comes with significant costs. I would be incredibly grateful for any support to help get me to Rotterdam.
