TGC, a volunteer-based grass roots golf club serving the Traralgon and wider Gippsland community, need funds to contribute to, and accelerate improvement works under our course Master Plan works.

The works provide hole layout improvements. The improvements are guided by the Masterplan. In short, future course improvements include rebuilding substandard tees, bunkers and greens, realign fairways and address boundary issues.

The new hole layouts set a transformational platform for our golf to be even more enjoyable based on the time honoured principles of strategic golf design.

TGC has set up an account with the Australian Sports Foundation (ASF) to help accelerate these vital course improvements. This is a fantastic opportunity for donors to make tax-deductible contributions that are strictly allocated to advancing our Master Plan projects - funds will not be used to supplement our operating costs.

Some key points,

• TGC has enjoyed considerable support from volunteers whose effort accounts for over half our course maintenance and improvement work (without this contribution our subs would need to be much higher).
• We also receive substantial support from sponsors.
• The new ASF account allows those who may not be able to volunteer or sponsor to still make a valuable contribution by way of a tax-deductible donation.
• Donations will be acknowledged unless a donor requests that they be anonymous.
• Donation increases would accelerate course improvements; current donations account for less than 1% of TGC funds.
