WHAT WE'RE RAISING FUNDS FOR

We're raising funds to provide the best hockey experience in our local community - developing our junior players, delivering better coaching and skills clinics, and improving the facilities at our Shaw Park home. Just as importantly, every dollar raised helps us keep the cost of playing down, so hockey stays affordable for every local family.

WHY WE CARE

Valley Hockey Club has been part of Brisbane's north for over 100 years, and we know what a club like ours means to a community: kids being active, families connecting, and players of every age belonging to something bigger than themselves. Rising costs put that at risk. We never want a child to miss out on hockey because their family can't afford it.

HOW WE'LL MAKE IT HAPPEN

Funds raised go directly into junior development programs, quality coaching and clinics for all age groups, and maintaining and upgrading our clubhouse and grounds. We're run entirely by volunteers - no salaries, no overheads - so your support goes straight to the players and facilities.

WHO WE ARE

We're Valley Hockey Club, home of the Royals - a volunteer-run community hockey club at Shaw Park, Wavell Heights, established in 1921. Around 700 players pull on the blue and white every season, from five-year-olds to masters, drawn from Kalinga, Clayfield, Kedron, Wavell Heights and across Brisbane's north.
