    ABOUT Volleyball Victoria

    Dandenong North, VIC

Founded in 2019 through the combination of two AVL clubs, the Melbourne Vipers became Volleyball Victoria's senior state representative team in the Australian Volleyball League.

In 2025, the Vipers will once again compete in the Australian Volleyball Super League - a fast-paced, high impact version of the game designed for mass appeal and a television audience. We're looking for Gold this season with Melbourne set to host the semi-finals.

But the Vipers need your help!

Volleyball in Australia is player funded, including at an elite level. Volleyball Victoria want to ensure player contributions are as low as possible with the goal to run the entire program at no expense to the player or through subsidies from VV or Government. We're close, but not there yet!

Costs to clubs to compete in the Super League include league license fees, flights, accommodation, meals, ground transport, high performance equipment, training and home round venue costs - upwards of $150,000 just for a single season! Player contribution is low at $500 but we want our players and coaches to focus on competing, not fundraising!

We are seeking your help to support the male and female Melbourne Vipers athletes and teams. Every dollar helps and your donation is tax deductible.

We are also seeking corporate partnerships to support our gameday activities. Reach out to us for more information if your business would like to support through sponsorship and receive recognition and engagement for your brand.
