We’re raising funds for the Waikerie Horse and Pony Club—a local club that gives riders and families the chance to learn, compete, and build confidence through horses in a safe and supportive environment.

This matters to us because the club is more than just riding lessons. It’s where kids and adults alike develop responsibility, resilience, teamwork, and a genuine connection with animals and the outdoors. In a regional community like Waikerie, opportunities like this are incredibly valuable—they keep people active, engaged, and part of something positive. Without ongoing support, it becomes harder to maintain the facilities, equipment, and programs that make all of this possible.

The funds will go directly toward improving and maintaining our grounds and equipment—things like arena upkeep, safety upgrades, jumps and training gear, and horse care resources. We also want to make participation more accessible by helping reduce costs for families, running events, and bringing in qualified instructors to support rider development. Our plan is practical: invest in the essentials first, build consistency in our programs, and continue growing membership and community involvement through well-run events, training days and regular rallies.

We are a volunteer-run club made up of dedicated families, riders, and supporters who are passionate about horses and the benefits they bring to people of all ages. Our members range from beginners to experienced riders, but what unites us is a shared commitment to learning, sportsmanship, and community spirit. With the right support, we can continue to provide a space where riders don’t just improve their skills—they grow as individuals.
