Ice Hockey WA State Teams bring together some of the most dedicated athletes from across Western Australia. From early morning training sessions to late-night games, our players work hard to earn the opportunity to represent their state at national championships.

For many athletes, selection in a WA State Team is a major milestone. It reflects years of commitment, teamwork, and personal sacrifice. It is also an opportunity to compete against the best players from across Australia, build lifelong friendships, and develop as both athletes and people.

However, representing WA comes with significant costs. Unlike many states, our teams often need to travel long distances to attend national tournaments. Flights, accommodation, transport, uniforms, equipment, and preparation costs can place real pressure on players and their families.

Through this Australian Sports Foundation fundraising page, Ice Hockey WA is seeking support to make State Team participation more accessible and sustainable. Funds raised will go directly towards supporting WA State Team programs and helping reduce the cost of participation for athletes and families.
