    ABOUT Western Sydney Whitewater Club

    Castlereagh, NSW

Western Sydney Whitewater Club is a not‑for‑profit organisation dedicated to developing the next generation of Canoe Slalom athletes. Founded in 2020, our club has grown to more than 50 active members and continues to expand as interest in whitewater paddle sports grows across the Western Sydney region.

We are a vibrant, inclusive community of athletes, coaches, volunteers and families who generously give their time to build skills, confidence and opportunity— from grassroots participation through to high‑performance pathways.

With your support, we can continue to invest in:

    • Developing and upskilling our volunteer coaches
    • Purchasing updated boats, paddles and safety gear for club use
    • Acquiring a club trailer to support training and competition travel
    • Assisting club families with the costs of attending national development camps and races

Every contribution makes a direct difference to athlete development and access to our sport. Without the support of donors and sponsors, it becomes increasingly difficult to provide high‑quality development opportunities at every level—from community engagement to elite performance. Your generosity helps ensure that talent, dedication and passion—not financial barriers—determine how far our athletes can go.

Help us secure a strong future for Canoe Slalom in Western Sydney, through the Brisbane Olympics and beyond.
