    Why wheelchair racing?

    Wheelchair racing is a highly dynamic and inclusive sport, offering athletes with disabilities a platform to compete at the highest levels. It showcases remarkable strength, endurance, and skill, with participants reaching speeds of over 30 km/h in events ranging from short sprints to gruelling marathons.

     

    Key highlights:

    1. Cutting-Edge Equipment: Racing wheelchairs are marvels of engineering—lightweight, aerodynamic, and custom-designed for each athlete to maximize speed and performance.

    2. Diverse Competitions: Events include sprints (100m, 200m), middle distances (400m, 800m), long distances (5000m, 10,000m), and road marathons. Athletes compete on tracks, roads, and even in multi-sport events like the Paralympics.
