Hi, my name is Wilfred Upeke Jnr, I’m 16 years old, and I’m incredibly honoured to have been selected to tour Europe this October as part of an international Rugby Union development program run by Iron Armour Academy.

Rugby has been a major part of my life for many years. I currently play for Harlequins Rugby Club and proudly represent Lara Secondary College, where I’ve been fortunate to help lead our school team to victory in the Mana Cup—a proud moment that reflects the hard work and dedication I bring to the game.

This European tour is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take my skills to the next level. I’ll be training with elite coaches, competing against international talent, and representing my club, school, and community on a global stage. The experience will help me grow both as a player and as a person, opening doors to future rugby pathways.
