Help Our Local Stars Shine on the National Stage!

After a year of relentless training, dedication, and teamwork, two exceptional young athletes from our community have achieved something truly special — they’ve been selected to represent NSW Country at the 2025 Under-16 National Basketball Championships in Bendigo, Victoria this July!

These boys have not only proven themselves as standout basketball talents, but also as respectful, committed, and disciplined young men. Their love for the game and mutual respect for each other, their coaches, and teammates is evident in everything they do — on and off the court.

The National Championships, held from 6th to 13th July, is the biggest junior basketball event in the country and will be streamed live on Kommunity TV. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for these boys to compete at the highest level, and they need your support to make it happen.

We’re seeking financial assistance to help cover the costs of:

• Travel to and from Bendigo
• Accommodation for the duration of the tournament
• Official team uniforms
• And yes — the substantial food bills that come with growing teenage athletes!
