At just 16 years old, William Meldrum has already established himself as one of Victoria's most exciting young netball talents. Now, he is proudly representing Australia!

William has represented Victoria in Men's 17&U netball since 2024, helping his team claim the runners-up position at the 2025 AMMNA National Championships in Melbourne before going one better in 2026, winning the National Championship in Perth. Shortly after, he was talent-identified to attend the Australian Selection Camp in Sydney and earned his place in the final squad to take on New Zealand in July 2026 — a remarkable achievement for any athlete, let alone one still in his teens.

His trophy cabinet reflects a consistent record of excellence across every level he has played. He has earned the prestigious Outer East Football Netball League Best & Fairest Award (15&U | 2024) and multiple grand final Best On Court honours at club level. He plays in M-League (Men's and Mixed | Division 1) and in the Western Football Netball League (WFNL). He has also represented Two Bays at State Titles (2024). He is a Training Partner with the Gippsland Stars VNL program, has been a TP with the North East Blaze VNL team, and a TP with the Casey Netball Academy, reflecting the respect he has earned within the elite netball community.

When he is not playing Netball, he gives back to the sport through his umpiring from 13&Us to A Grade. Outside of netball, William is a loyal family member and friend. He also has keen interests in volleyball and soccer.

William's journey is a testament to his dedication, work ethic, and passion for a sport he has given everything to. Your support will help cover the costs of representing Australia when the Kelpies take on the Kiwis this July. Any contribution, large or small, means the world.
