Willunga Recreation Park (WRPI) has identified a program of developments and improvements that it is required to fund over the next few years. These are designed to improve the facilities for all of the participants and patrons of the Park facilities. The current project that WRPI is raising funds for is to enable us to replace the old galvanised fencing around the Willunga oval with modern pickets. We are undertaking this as the current fencing is old, aging and failing in some areas. We are aiming to improve the safety and aesthetics of the oval fencing. We are encouraging community members and businesses to purchase pickets which they can have a plaque placed on to recognise their contribution. Willunga Recreation Park, which includes Willunga oval, is owned by the community of Willunga. It is managed by a management committee, appointed by the community, which is responsible for the maintenance and upgrading of the facility.
