WHAT WE ARE RAISING FUNDS FOR

We're raising $100,000 to replace our current hockey pitch and score board with a world-class playing surface. We've already obtained quotes and have a clear plan in place. We just need the community's support to get there!

WHY WE CARE

Woodville Hockey Club has been home to the Woodpeckers since 1952 - nearly 75 years of junior and senior hockey, built by a community that shows up for each other on and off the field. Today we're 500+ members strong across 15 teams.

Our current pitch has served that community well, but it's holding us back from what we know this club can become. A new, world-class pitch means better, safer play for every one of our members from juniors just starting out to our most experienced seniors and it means we can finally open our doors to the wider hockey world.

HOW WE PLAN TO MAKE IT HAPPEN

With a new pitch and scoreboard, we'll continue the Adelaide Champions Trophy - a tournament program bringing state, national, and invited international teams to play right here in Adelaide. It's a chance to put Woodville on the map, bring elite hockey to our community, and create opportunities and inspiration for our own players.

Every dollar raised goes directly toward the pitch replacement, and every donation is fully tax deductible through the Australian Sports Foundation.

We are Woodville Hockey Club has been a community-driven club with nearly 75 years of history, we've grown from local beginnings into one of Adelaide's most welcoming hockey clubs. This campaign is about investing in our future: giving our members a facility worthy of our history, and giving Adelaide a stage worthy of world-class hockey.
